Bogle on Bonds

My takeaways are that Bogle tax manages his non-retirement portfolio by investing in limit-term and intermediate term muni bonds, and in his tax-deferred portfolio he uses the total bond market. He also follows his own advice in that the percent of bonds in his portfolio equals his age. This is a little too conservative for me, but that is a personal decision for each investor.
