The Man in the Red Bandanna

Ten years later: remembering a man who led people to safety after terrorists struck the World Trade Center on September 11th - a former Boston College lacrosse player whose trademark was a red bandanna

  1. Very moving. Reminds me of the man in the icy water when the Air Florida flight 90 plane hit the 14th street bridge who kept passing the rescue line to others. It is awesome to contemplate the courage of everyday Americans walking among us.

  2. I was home sick that day and watched the whole thing unfold on TV! Very sad day indeed.

  3. A very moving story, and a real hero. It must be so hard for the parents to go through that kind of grief... so many senseless deaths.
