They would give them a hoe to go out and work the fields....... none of this cushy stuff with frozen pizzas and subs, flopped on the couch watching TV.
Sure, he is working hard. Many people do. Working hard no more guarantees you success than being born in the right family. Hard work is only part of the puzzle.
I am not trying to silence anyone BTW. People are entitled to complain; however, that doesn't mean that they can force you to listen.
There is a certain dignity about pulling your own weight and not being a burden to society. The Occupy Wall Street crowd seem to demanding more freebies, and trying to get their bailout.
Our forefathers would laugh at those who complain today about economic hardship.
