Will Generation “Gimme” Work for the American Dream?
The short answer: No. The propaganda is succeeding. The Enlightenment notion of Life, liberty, and Property laid out in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution has given way to the entitlement society.
We've become wealthy beyond our wildest dreams and the teachers in our public schools have no idea how this happened. Teachers are always taking required in service courses. A required one should be on how the economy works.
The Occupy Wall Street crowd are freezing their butts off now. It's a pointless movement that will produce nothing. It's a lot like the people in the movement. Produce nothing and take as much as possible.
