It's an interesting time that we live in. I remember a time when the general public rarely discussed the constitution, but now it's a lot more common. That's a big improvement versus standard water-cooler discussions about the Jersey Shore.
I think it is a great thing that we are having such discussions as a nation. The constitution was written to limit the role and the size of government. Since many of the institutional checks and balances have failed, it's good to see common citizens try to fill the void. Of course, the Dukes and Duchesses that run the country and dole out the taxpayers money to whoever is in favor at the moment don't like being challenged one bit.

ReplyDeleteEverytime I hear that, I think of Koch, one of the founders who also funded the Tea Party... that's what I was referring to.
